This first of three history of science virtual tours will take you to several key scientific locations in Oxford from the comfort of your own home. Travel back in time to reveal how science was done in the early days of Oxford University. Together, we will explore the legacy of discovery and some of recent scientific achievements while learning about Oxford’s Nobel Prize winners and notable scholars.
Congratulations on organizing and executing an incredibly successful workshop. It was the best workshop yet.
Also, the walking tour of Oxford was an unexpected additional pleasure. I can’t say enough about Nina Kruglikova. She was the best tour guide I have ever had, on any tour I have been on. Her detailed knowledge of the city and its history was unbelievable (little known facts, that I bet even you do not know). And, she is a great story teller. So, it was not only the facts, but the way she made them into stories, that was captivating. Use her again, if you get the chance. (She really enjoyed doing this too).
